What's coming in 2012?

All the scientists are trying desperately to figure out what is going to happen in 2012. It is tThe end of the Mayan calendar, as the Mayans say, "the end of time as we now it." They say it will be the end of linear time and the beginning of past, present, and future all exsisting at once, as in a dreamstate. All kinds of physical changes are taking place in our galaxy, which has just been determined to not be the Milky Way, but another far off, distant galaxy that is going to intersect the Milky Way exactly at right angles on December 21, 2012. Many changes are happening on all the planets in our solar system. There is going to be some "super gravity" effect in 2012. But, I ask one simple question... Why can't the scientists just consider this? God said he would come back and help us and then the meek would inherit the earth and we will have 1,000 years of peace and prosperity. That is what I think is going to happen. The time period between November 18, 2007 and November 12, 2008 is supposed to be the last night of the Galactic Underworld, or something like that, and probably the darkest period in human history. That makes sense. It will be the last year of the Bush presidency. After that things should start getting better. I read somewhere, and I cannot find it now for the life of me, that there are certain dates where all of mankind will be enlightened in an instant. These happen more frequently as we approach the end of the calendar, 2012. Everyone at once will have great epiphanies up until the end. In the last few months before December of 2012 this will happen a lot. I will try to find where I originally read about it.
